In my never-ending effort to become more organized (does it ever end? No? Damn.) I found that I need to have a place to write things down. I love my iPhone and calendar (which I sync with Google Calendar), but it’s been very hard to organize my time. Appointments are great using my phone. But when I want to block out time to work on things? Not so much.
I looked at a number of options, and settled on Passion Planner. I like that it has times for the entire day, which allows me to block out specific times for meetings and tasks. The spaces for to-dos, the day/week/month focus, and even just doodling or brain storming are great. My only complaint is that it’s big – 8.5 x 11 (there is a smaller version, but I found the spaces too small – can’t have it all!). I prefer a smaller planner that I can throw in my purse, but I’ve decided to just use this one at work and bring it home as needed.
I’m excited to use this new tool, along with my new color-coding system. Here’s to 2015!
